Hot dip galvanizing finishing is taking place at the 110 acres premises of PAPADIOCHOS S.A galvanizing plant. The company after many years of continuously investing in quality development succeeded to become one of the biggest galvanizing plants in the Balkan area being also a member of the European General Galvanizers Association (E.G.G.A.).
Hot Dip Galvanizing
The hop dip galvanizing finishing is according to EN ISO 1461 and the procedure can be described with the following steps:
- Degreasing
- Immersion in hydrochloric acid
- Immersion in clean water
- Immersion in FLUX
- Material drying
- Immersion in zinc (temperature approx. 450 oC )
- Cleaning
- Quality testing
An integrated system of filters ensures that the hot dip galvanizing method follows the most strict international environmental regulations and norms. The low first cost, the lowest long term cost, the less maintenance, the long life expectancy, the reliability, the complete protection, the ease of inspection and the fast erection time are some of the advantages that made the hot dip galvanizing method to prevail against other anticorrosion methods.
